My application for one of the very few scholarships I was actually eligible for got fucked up. Not sure if it was a mistake on my part or theirs but this is a bummer. I felt good about my chances of getting it and now I might not even be considered.

is one of my least favourite sayings. There’s no right time to be in the wrong place.
Maybe you were invited to a party and you went to the wrong place and you got the time wrong as well. Then I get it. But the saying still doesn’t sound right. If you went to the wrong place, it really doesn’t matter if you got the time of the party right or not.

When kids in movies or on tv sleep with their fingers interlocked and their hands neatly placed on top of the blanket that is pulled all the way up to their armpits.
