    After interviews for co-op positions, employers rank students according to how much they want the person to work for them.  So you could be ranked a 1, in which case you have an offer.  If you’re ranked something else, you still have a chance to get the job so you rank the employer according to how much you want the job.

    Or the employer can simply not rank you, which means they desperately do not want you to work for them.
